Hadn’t posted anything on wardrobe for maternity session yet.  For all mommies to be, here are some tips for you:

1.  Plain neutral color wardrobe helps to bring out your curves while stripes and pattern may be distracting.
2.  Choose color and fabric that flattens you and clothes that hugs your body curves.
3.  For dresses, empire waist style works the best.  Although dress length is totally a personal preference, maxi length dress accentuates your curve while concealing swollen legs and ankles.
4.  Cami tank tops and straight leg draw string linen pants/maxi skirt give you the flexibility to bare your belly.  If you prefer more coverage on your arms, dress in layers and throw on a cardigan.
5.  For the intimate indoor maternity session at your home, you can try something different such as lingerie, flyaway babydoll, yoga bra top with yoga pants, or scarves to drape your body.

For your second wardrobe, you can consider something more fun and adventurous.

Thanks for coming out to Santa Monica for a photo session with me.  Mimi is the cutest mommy-to-be.  I can’t wait to meet baby Jayden this Fall.

I was so excited when my friend, Beverly asked me to capture her pregnancy of her second baby.  We had a photo session during the holiday 2009 when she was 7 months pregnant.  Here are some of my favorites from her session.

Beverly just had her baby last week.  I am going to visit her and Ian tomorrow for his newborn session.  It will be so much fun.  See you all tomorrow!
